Can I change my unit for a bigger or smaller one?

Yes, provided another unit of the size you need is available.

Do I need to get my own lock?

We provide high security locks free of charge on loan.

How long can I have the unit for?

Once you are in a unit it is yours for as long as you need it.

How do I hand back a unit?

Give us 7 days notice to vacate and any prepaid rent not used will be refunded once the unit has been inspected and the lock and key returned.

Can I move in immediately?

Yes, if the unit you require is available.

How secure are the units?

The units are shipping containers and the locks are protected by metal lock boxes.  There is 24/7 CCTV.  The yard is flood lit and gated.

When can I access my unit?

The Container storage and Units are only accessible during opening hours – 08.00 to 18.00 7 days a week.

Do I pay a deposit?

No deposits are taken.

Can I come to see the units before committing to hire?

Of course, we would be pleased to see you.

How do I pay for the unit?

Payment is made by debit or credit card, standing order or BACS.

When will I have to pay?

Payment is taken when the unit is occupied and thereafter each month on the same date. If you take the unit on the 10th of the month – future payments will be taken on the 10th of each month thereafter.

Do I need insurance?

It is important that you have sufficient insurance cover for your goods should you require additional insurance or would like a quote please enquire.

what items can’t I store?

• Hazardous – explosives, flammable gases, liquids and solids
• Unauthorised or illegal goods, e.g. drugs
• Firearms and ammunition
• Living things
• Items that could decompose, e.g. exposed food stuffs.
